Why did you assume what was said in jest was said in anger? What triggered you so badly that you replied before understanding what was being said?

Seriously though, being surprised that something anime-like hypersexualizes women is like being surprised at violence in an R-rated movie. Or seeing a blowjob in a porno. Or the graphic death of a child's mother in a G rated Disney movie.

I was not saying it's right, or just, nor was I defending the practice. It just seemed comically tragic at how someone was surprised by it.

The term "fan service' exists for a reason.
