Whiskey tango foxtrot is an object listener? If you mean the method OF an object, addEventListener breaks scope just like the Element.oncllick does so there's zero difference there.
In fact the only difference between Element.onclick and addEventListner is that the latter adds, the former replaces, and the various capture control options.
unlike HTML's onclick attribute which is utterly dumbass. Remember, <button onclick=""> and Element.onclick=myFunction; are worlds apart.
Or do you mean something to do with non-node EventTarget objects, which have absolutely nothing to do with the DOM?
I don't get it. Zero clue what you're talking about. Only humans can explain the behaviors of humans. Please Explain. Norman... Coordinate.
