Uhm, that's what logical operator MEANS... returning actual true or false would be a BOOLEAN operator, which is something JS lacks entirely. (not to be confused with the binary operators)

With loosy in the mix, they're logical. This OR that as the entire element regardless of type.

I just wish more languages would ditch the crypric iconography and symbology and just let us use words that make sense... the OR and AND. Perish the thought. It's sad when machine language is now clearer and easier syntax than the high level languages -- but what can one expect from three decades of the painfully and aggravatingly cryptic disaster that is C being the basis for everything that came since.

Legacy garbage that SHOULD have died off the same time as the mainframe dinosaurs and 150 baud dumb terminals.
