Thing as "work" if you're working in pixels, you're violating accessibility norms which means you're not doing the job as it should be done. Given the recent spate of lawsuits over things like this, and the corresponding liability, it should be as much a part of your job in coding the front end to say "No, we're not using pixel based crap" as it is to implement the page.

You should be telling your employer and whoever's handing you their pixel based trash exactly that. That it's a broken, non-scaling, inaccessible wreck and the opposite of competent design.

And if they don't like that, well... I'd be looking for the door. ESPECIALLY if this is for any serious business where failing to meet WCAG minimums can get your tuchas sued off. If Dominos and Beyonce can be raked over the coals, what chance do smaller businesses have?

Building tools and going "sir, yes sir" to work in pixels is utter nonsense and nothing more than molly-coddling mentally enfeebled approaches to layout and design... and it can bite you the moment someone with accessibility needs loads up your page.
