Sadder still is that what you’re building with all that junk is likely a giant middle finger to users with accessibility needs.

But then you’re an app builder, I’m a web developer focused on accessibility, usability, efficiency, and the dozens of other things real businesses are getting dragged into court over.

It must be nice to be able to tell large swaths of users you don’t give a shit about them. Seems to be the mantra of “webapps” as a whole. To work for places who don’t worry that some DA or disabled person is going to sue your ass off. Where things like WCAG are a “what’s that then?!?”.

Hell, just to be able to use JS however the hell you want, and to hell with consequences. I and the clients I serve — public utilities, gov’t agencies, medical care — don’t have that luxury.

And when “Web application” fans try to drag their scripttardery into those types of businesses, it screws them. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
