Now, whilst what I'm about to say about the useless tone deaf talentless manufactured bimbo's you mentioned -- Siwft, Styles, etc -- few are as exaggerated in terms of talent as Beyonce.
Her career started in a manufactured girl band, which was passable, but it was the start of a career marked by overproduction, lip syncing live, sounding like Mariah Carey without a production team when she tried to actually sing live, (that was not a compliment)...
It's like when she was snubbed for best solo artist in favor of Beck. No shit, calling here a solo artist given the army of A&R guys and the lack of one song she wrote herself vs. a guy who produced, played 90% of the instruments, and recorded in his own studio? For one the music won.
Which is surprising given no talent hacks with sob stories like Billie Eilish are given a grammy -- basically a musical war crime. Why aren't actual talented vocalists like Floor or Simone getting Grammy's?
It's almost like it's a popularity contest, with zero judging on talent. But even in that framework handing a manufactured, pre-programmed, auto-tuned, over-produced T&A act like Beyonce a grammy isn't something that should happen.
Even if her father is a manager/producer pulling strings even if they "separated" professionally something like a decade ago.
It's like the joke from "Be Cool" : "J-Lo, that shit's been remixed so much I could sound like Jenny from the block!"
Though honestly Kanye -- that no-talent antisemitic dumbass who thinks he's Jesus -- throwing a hissy fit over her getting snubbed in favor of Beck years-back probably sabotaged any chance of Beyonce being given real consideration past nomination. Disrespect the academy, and you're DONE.
but to be fair, as a Jazz, Blues, Fusion, and Metal fan, I have no ear for that style of manufactured mainstream pop rubbish. I mean why wasn't Nightwish's "Human Nature" even considered for a "Best Album" grammy back in '21 when from a musical standpoint it makes ALL the mainstream schlock and chazerei of that year reek of "the artist has no talent, but what an A&R team!"
