No that’s actually the POINT of my article. Their “core value proposition” is mind-numbingly dumbass, pissing away every advantage CSS is supposed to give us.
The very nature of saying what things look like in the HTML drags practices back 23 years, even if you’re doing it with classes instead of <font>, <center>, bgcolor, tables for layout, etc. It’s the same broken mindset of placing presentation where it has ZERO business in the first place, in the markup.
Those atomic classes are why these frameworks are universally incompetent crap. That’s not misleading, that’s the truth of it. All the unfounded unsupported nonsensical lame excuses about “components”, or reusability, or “don’t reinvent the wheel”, or other such equally fubar “models” don’t fix that.
It all just makes people work harder, not smarter… a laugh since the selling point of all this “work harder” chazerei is based in BALD FACED LIES about being “easier, simpler, and better”. When not a lick of it is true.
