It’s the telltale of some sort of pre-processor, but also a telltale they’re using some dipshit framework or presentational classes as well. That would be a fun topic for an article: Why Medium’s markup is bloated garbage. It’s bad enough all the broken scripttardery whilst not even having working push notifications.
