It’s actually an example of how many “blue collar” businesses are better run than what the “white collar criminals” do. For a effete elitist group that consistently acts like they’re somehow “better people” than the “rest of us” they can be some real dirtbags who don’t plan, don’t organize, and have way too much entitlement.
I think it stems from society as a whole — particularly here in the colonies — having spent 40+ years demonizing the blue collar worker. We’ve genuinely convinced most people that if you’re not a eight year college grad working in an office for double the national average, you’re instantly a failure as a human being.
Thus why we have so many people who actually think that people who work 60+ hours a week doing back-breaking labor aren’t “applying themselves” or worthy of a living wage… as they sit there sipping their starbucks goofy named burnt coffees in their office cubicle circle-jerking each-other with mental masturbation.
