I recently wrote my own article on closures, where my focus is on the biggest problem with them.

The word used should be "enclosure" because that's what it does. It doesn't "End" anything, or "close" something, it ENcloses it!

I bet we'd have a lot less comprehension issues if a word that actually means what it does was used! {} is not a closure, just the } is!

Programmers seems to have a raging boner these days for using words in ways that have nothing to do with what they mean.
