I find it comedic -- and troubling -- how most of your advice violates accessibility norms. From the lightening of font-weight to the white on blue, you've failed to meet basic minimums. Don't even get me started on the whole "if you're thinking in pixels, somebody isn't thinking" of your font-size examples.
