Goofball animations and garbage colour choices have never impressed me. But the real deal-breakers for me is how they've pissed on UI functionality even further, and it's getting harder and harder to undo their POINTLESS and relatively useless changes.

Even just the fact I can't move the taskbar into portrait to one side, and turn off "icon only" so I can see a list of window titles is a deal-breaker. Or the crappy giant taskbar that shows even less than XP did but sucks down 50% of a 1440p display ... with Classic Shell still stuck in catch-up mode to tell M$ to go suck an egg with their mobile/tablet shit that tells desktop users to go plow themselves!

No amount of translucent/frosted bullshit is going to fix the removal of basic functionality and disruption to my workflow!

It LOOKS "clean and smooth" to the artsy fartsy types, but it's a giant middle finger to usability. It's crippleware compared to Win 10 once you layer classic shell and 7 task tweaker atop it. Aka, drag it kicking and screaming back to Win 7's UI.

UI as in actual usefulness, not "eye cans haz teh purty art" garbage that means NOTHING to me as a user trying to get work done!
